This is pretty much a spoiler-free review. Although, if you have half a brain you might deduce some things. It’s pretty difficult to dance around every-single-story-element – so you might pick up on some details, specifically stuff involving Benedict Cumberbatch. If you’ve watched the trailer I think you will be fine.
‘WARM BODIES’ Movie Review: Energetic, Funny And Highly Recommended! You’ll Love It!
‘Warm Bodies’ is the latest film from excellent Director Jonathan Levine (The Wackness, 50/50). It stars Nicholas Hoult as the main zombie ‘R’ and Theresa Palmer as the human ‘Julie.’ Basically the story is that Humans and Zombies are split apart (with a wall that puts the Berlin one to shame) and battle in a [...]
‘OBLIVION’ Movie Review: Amounts To Nothing More Than A Instagram Photo.
The more movies you watch, the harder it gets to enjoy one.
‘Zero Dark Thirty’ Movie Review: A Cold, Clinical, And Ultimately Empty Exercise?
The first thing to say about ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ is that it is not a “pro torture” film.
‘THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY’ Movie Review: The Film Has 99 Problems, but the 48 frames, The CGI and its length aren’t one!
I saw ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey’ in both the 48 Frames Per Second High Frame Rate, as well as in the Standard 24 fps 3D. There are pros and cons to the 48 frames just as there are for any new technology. So to cripple ‘The Hobbit’ for its use of this new tech [...]
‘WRECK IT RALPH’ Movie Review: Touching, Hilarious And Nerd Friendly!
I was skeptical about ‘Wreck It Ralph’ – I really, really shouldn’t have been. A team of filmmakers created this film. A team Disney sourced from the golden eras of ‘The Simpsons’ and ‘Futurama:’ Director Rich Moore, and writers Jim Reardon, Phil Johnson, and Jennifer Lee.
‘LES MISERABLES’ Movie Review: A Stunning Achievement.
It’s three hours long, it’s wall to wall singing, it’s never boring. ‘The King’s Speech’ director Tom Hooper brings the famous stage musical to the screen, and does so with great success. Helped along with amazing production design and performances; ‘Les Miserables’ is one of the movies of the year.
‘SKYFALL’ Movie Review: The Best Bond Movie Of 2012!
I suppose it’s time for me to add to the pantheon of hyperbolic ‘Skyfall’ reviews.
