23rd James Bond 007 Film ‘SKYFALL’ Begins Shooting! Lots Of Info Inside: Cast, Crew and Story! Bond, Bardem, and Babes!

The Official Logo

Hey guys, Finally after years of waiting! We haven’t had a Bond film since 2006′s ‘Casino Royale.’ (‘Quantum Of Solace’ sucked, and therefore doesn’t count). We are also huge fans of Sam Mendes (I personally have loved every film he’s made, I was one of the few to adore his little seen: ‘Away We Go’).

But anyway, we are huge James Bond fans and can’t wait to see this new one by Sam Mendes. He’s such an unusual and interesting choice, I think he’ll knock it out of the park really. The film is called ‘Skyfall’ – and man, look at the talent involved; the cast has Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney and Javier Bardem (Which marks only the second time in Bond history in which an academy award winner has played a role) they’ve even got the worlds most talented cinematographer: Roger Deakins…more after the jump: Read more…

‘CAPTAIN AMERICA’ AND SYMBOLISM: Have Superheroes Become Mindless Schlock Entertainment?

CaptainAmerica-FirstAvenger-Still-15-HugoWeavingAsRedSkull

Yes and no. Superheroes have and will always remain a key and significant part in todays entertainment. Walk down a street and ask anyone which superhero they adore and the chances are you’ll be rewarded with a wide range of choices. But the likelihood of a character such as Captain Marvel or Clark Kent having more of an impact today may be less crucial than it once more. I know that’s a controversial statement and I’ll stand by it. Read more…

DEFENDING ‘SOUTH PARK.’ Thoughts on Season 15 Episode 7: “YOU’RE GETTING OLD.”

The last shot of the (mid) season. "Things have changed."

NOTE: This article is spoiler filled. If you haven’t seen the latest episode titled: “You’re Getting Old” then ye have been warned…

A lot of ‘South Park’ fans consider 2010 a pretty hit and miss year for the show. Many of them consider the current 2011 series unwatchable. While I don’t think it’s been horrid (far from it) I have noticed a decline in quality, but I think that it’s been slight, and that comparatively ‘South Park’ still remains one of the best shows on Television. And if anything, the belief that the show sucks seems to only be distorted perceptions, but more on that after the jump: Read more…
