I was skeptical about ‘Wreck It Ralph’ – I really, really shouldn’t have been. A team of filmmakers created this film. A team Disney sourced from the golden eras of ‘The Simpsons’ and ‘Futurama:’ Director Rich Moore, and writers Jim Reardon, Phil Johnson, and Jennifer Lee.
It’s three hours long, it’s wall to wall singing, it’s never boring. ‘The King’s Speech’ director Tom Hooper brings the famous stage musical to the screen, and does so with great success. Helped along with amazing production design and performances; ‘Les Miserables’ is one of the movies of the year.
I suppose it’s time for me to add to the pantheon of hyperbolic ‘Skyfall’ reviews.
Why oh why was this episode not called ‘Shit Happens!?’ Oh well. Lets get on with it shall we:
